2005 Argonaut
Platforms: PC, Sony PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, Microsoft Xbox
This week we had a surprise submission to the site, with a set of videos showcasing gameplay and rendered scenes from an unknown cancelled development of Mission: Impossible, which we believe was underway around 2005.

Details are sketchy at this stage, but it is assumed at this stage the Argonaut were planning to do the game for all the main platforms of the time, including Sony PlayStation 2 and Microsoft Xbox and what we can see here is what may have formed a pitch to get the development licence to the game.
It is unknown how far the game had got and why it was ultimately cancelled. From the gameplay slice we have, the game looks like it could have been fun to play. We hope to learn more about what happened soon, but if you had any involvement on the game – we would love to learn more sometime. It would be amazing if something playable may still exist.
This page will continue to be updated over time as more info comes to light. With a huge thank you to the person who submitted the videos (and whom wishes to respectfully remain anonymous) – it is much appreciated.

I suspect this was presumably a tie in to Mission Impossible III.
