A short entry for a fantasy role playing game called Dungeons and Magic that was due out from Starbyte in 1993, with graphics by Chipsi and Macho. A graphical slideshow was released with some of the graphics on show, and which we have here as a download – but nothing further has surfaced.
Was the game ever started, and if so – who was the developer? There were no details apart from this small bit of text at the end of the demo:
“Most of these pictures are from our new fantasy role playing game dungeons and magic. More than 200 other grafik objekts like these can you see in this new game. Coming soon released by starbyte.”
Thanks to Professor Chaos, we learn that Chipsi was Boris Müller and Macho was Bernd Waldraff, who were both Kopido Games and did a fair few games together. Sadly their website and old Kopido pages have no mention of this game.
We hope to learn more soon, but for now – check out a very early glimpse at the title thanks to the slideshow released back in the day. Thanks to Baracuda for highlighting the game.

Update history
03/06/26 – Developer details and names added thanks to Professor Chaos

“Chipsi” is programmer and artist Boris Müller (also a member of “The Warriors” and “Ability”), “Macho” is artist Bernd Waldraff, and both were “Kopido Games”, whose logo is on the bottom of the first slideshow pictures. They did quite a few games for magazines together, mostly with composer Lars Hutzelmann: https://gb64.com/search.php?a=5&f=3&id=405&d=45&h=0
Boris Müller has a website, but: (1) Last update is 22 years ago. (2) The main menu requires Flash!!! (3) HVSC already contacted him over the e-mail address given there in 2023, but no reply. If you wish to try, it’s http://kopido.com
Neither Lars Hutzelmann’s HVSC directory, STIL sections, nor Boris Müller’s “Reverences” page (kopido.com/produkte.htm) mentions any form of “dungeon” or “magic”.
Thanks Professor Chaos, really appreciated and i’ve just updated the page with the new details with credit to yourself. Thank you :)
