This could well be an open and shut case, but one worth including for now until we get confirmation whether there was an Infiltrator 3 or not.
Compute!’s Gazette issue 82 (1990) had a small news item about Commodore bundles for Winter, and where a repackaged Commodore 64 setup called “The Test Pilot” would feature five games: ATF, Infiltrator III, Harrier, Crazy Cars and Tomahawk.
It could very likely be a typo, and they were meant to say “II”, and also there is no game called Harrier – unless that was a typo too.
Thanks to contributor Nic, it has been confirmed to be a typo and the game was Infiltrator 2 (see scans). Also, Harrier was confirmed from the screenshot as “Harrier Combat Simulator”, which Mindscape released in the US and was Strike Force Harrier in the UK.
So no 3rd lost Infiltrator game to recover sadly! Case closed!
