A new entry thanks to Mat Allen, who has highlighted this educational title called Miss Mouse, which was due for release in 1985 by Grolier Electronic Publishing.
Thankfully an advert exists with a screenshot and the following details:
Playing with the Friendly Forest gang will help kids to:
- Develop the concept of rhyme, a first step in learning to read
- Increase sight vocabulary to 60 words
- Improve sight and comprehension skills
- Practice following simple instructions
- Stimulate reading for pleasure
It’s clear from the screenshot that the game had got quite far, or was even complete. The question now was whether it was released and if it can be found to be preserved. The game was also due for release on the Apple II and has been preserved: https://archive.org/details/TheStoryOfMissMouse4amCrack
