Recently my good friend of 27 years, Jason Kelk, sadly lost his 15 month battle with COVID. It’s still sinking in that he’s no longer with us, so to try and help process things I wrote a blog post about my memories of meeting Jason and the time we spent over the years.
It’s been written freely and from the heart, so its quite a long piece, but hopefully gives an insight to what a good friend he was.

I know this is way past due, as I have enjoyed a lot of Jason’s games over the years, especially on the C64. His death hit hard for me. To think that he was only three years older than myself. Rest in Peace, Jason.

Beautifully written, Frank, I’m very sorry to hear this. Never met Jason but knew the name very well, we were on several mailing lists together I think like RGCD! Plus I loved reading his homebrew reviews at Retro Gamer and was always very jealous he had it nailed down so well!
You were obviously a great friend to him and he to you. I’m glad you can at least look back with lots of fond memories of your time together. Take care, buddy.
