Green Jelly – The Game

1994 Unknown

Platform: Unknown

A short entry today for a relatively unknown game that was in the planning, based on the band Green Jelly. All we know is that a video game was being planned, thanks to a two page article on the band in Video Games magazine in March 1994.

Nothing about the game itself was described, and everything was still apparently “hush-hush”, with a rumour that the game would be released sometime in 1995. It never happened though.

There’s not much else to go on at this stage, not even details of the platforms it was due for release on. We’d hazard a guess it would have been for a 16-bit console like the SNES/Mega Drive – as they had done music for Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage for the platforms.

As a result, this game could be vapourware and may have never got past the initial idea stage. If you know anything more about the game – please do get in touch.

With thanks to Karl Kuras for highlighting and Archive.org for the scans.
