Not much known about this pack i’m afraid, apart from that it was to contain games like Snakes and Ladders, and possibly other board games.
We think there was some adverts for this compilation briefly, but we are needing confirmation of this.
Because we don’t have any information, we can’t say too much about the game. Maybe the game compilation idea was realised to be too weak for release?… Or the programmers did a runner? We don’t know, but yet another title in the archives we need to start digging for information.
The ZX Spectrum version was released however, as well as an Amstrad CPC edition. There is evidence a C64 version was under way, as the instructions include details for loading the C64 version.

It came out for the Spectrum: https://www.gremlinarchive.com/index.php/2020/08/23/compendium-zx-spectrum/ and was advertised in Zzap!64 issue 31. I’m pretty sure that’s where the advert in the gallery comes from.
Just called “Compendium” though in both places. (Although WoS does say also known as “Games Compendium”: https://worldofspectrum.org/archive/software/compilations/compendium-gremlin-graphics-software-ltd
1987 release for Spectrum version it seems.
Thanks Iain! I’ll update the page. Looks like CPC might be missing too. Will be intrigued to see if there are any C64/CPC instructions in the inlay. Just the cover seems to be scanned at the moment.
Ah – done some digging and found C64 loading instructions thanks to the CPCRulez archive. Added some scans :)
