Our next title into the archives is a very early platform shooter game for the Game Boy Color, and was developed around 1999. It is unknown currently what the origins are for it, if it was for an official development or part of a development competition (we weren’t able to spot on our initial searches). A short entry now for an unknown and early game engine that was created during the very early days of DC Studios. It has a working title of “Some Metal Head”, which was set in the game’s header and seems to be the start of a sort of Metal Slug/Turrican style game. Continue reading

Our next Game Boy Color entry into the archives is a very early multi-directional platform engine, featuring a test Super Mario sprite that you can move around and with parallax background elements.
