Hosenose & Booger

Hosenose & Booger thumbnail

Hosenose & Booger was a rather bizarre graphic adventure game that was in development during 1994 by ASG Technologies, with planned releases on both the SEGA Mega Drive and Atari Jaguar. The game was advertised in a number of magazines at the time, including EGM and GameFan, often alongside ASG Technologies’ unreleased Video Jukebox peripheral. Litil Divil

Litil Divil was a Gremlin title that had seen massive delays, but was worth the wait for the most part – scoring well across the board on the likes of PC DOS, CD-i and Amiga CD32 platforms. There were interestingly a number of conversions that would never see the light of day, including a version for the Super Nintendo CD (which was the original target platform). However, available documentation, magazine press and developer recollections suggest the game progressed further than people might realise on those platforms.

Atari Corporation and Williams Entertainment had issued a joint press release in March confirming that Mortal Kombat 3 was in development for the Atari Jaguar, with a planned release window of Q2 1996. Atari described the title as one of the most frequently requested games from Jaguar owners and positioned it as a major upcoming release for the system. Continue reading

Tinhead

Tinhead thumbnail

Tinhead is best known as a Sega Mega Drive platformer released in 1993, though it received little attention at the time. A Super Nintendo port was completed but never officially released back in the day (but got a physical release by Piko Interactive in 2019). A Jaguar version was also in development but never surfaced. The lost Amiga version however is particularly intriguing due to the discovery of early development materials that suggest a very different origin for the game. Continue reading
