According to Commodore Format Issue 35, Test Master 2 was a game by E&J Software that was currently on sale and selling well at number 7 in the charts.
However, what happened to it? CF never reviewed it and it has yet to surface anywhere. Surely if it was at number 7, then it would have sold a few copies!
It is possible that CF had cocked up some how and had meant it for their news section – but no corrections were ever made. The original game was released back in 1990 by Challenge Software.
Do you know more about the game? … did it actually get released?

I tried looking into it and it looks a bit intricated:
GB64 list Test Master as a 1990 Challenge software release ( https://gb64.com/game.php?id=16099&d=18&h=0 ) indeed but it links it to Cricket Master by E&J Software (1988)( https://gb64.com/game.php?id=11460&d=18&h=0 ), now there was a Cricket Master 2 listed in ads as a budget title on some 1991 issues of Crash: https://dn790003.ca.archive.org/0/items/sinclair-user-magazine-112/SinclairUser_112_Jun_1991.pdf (page 38) and https://dn760109.eu.archive.org/0/items/sinclair-user-magazine-113/SinclairUser_113_Jul_1991.pdf (page 31). Could it be the same game?
Thanks for taking a look Fabrizio – it could well be the same game, and its interesting that Cricket Master 2 wasn’t released either by the looks of it.
